The measurement instructions issued on 10 October state:
“Random checks will be conducted throughout the event and if found in breach of class rules, a report is required to be lodged with the Jury, who is then mandated by the Racing Rules of Sailing (RRS) to commence a protest hearing – these will result in DSQ from one or more races”
The following boats have been observed to not comply with the Class Rules & ISAF Rules (RRS) as follows:
- Missing a lower measurement band on the mast as per Moth Class Rules
(max 5185mm from top of mast, min 15mm wide in contrasting color)

- Illegible sail number – does not comply with ISAF RRS Appendix G1.2a
Failure to rectify the above prior to racing on Wednesday 16 October will result in a report to the Jury, who are then mandated by ISAF RRS to protest the boat.
3. Country code in a different colour to the sail number – does not comply with ISAF Racing Rules of Sailing – Appendix G1.2a

Failure to rectify the above prior to racing on Thursday 17 October will result in a report to the Jury, who are then mandated by ISAF RRS to protest the boat.
There may be others who do also do not comply with the class & ISAF Rules, no further warnings will be given before reports are handed to the Jury. Please re-read the 10 Oct measurement notice, the class rules and ensure your boat complies.
